At Mortonhall, warm up for your game using the practice facilities on site. We have three, 40 yard long, nets located near the 1st tee where you can hit full shots.
The putting green situated behind the clubhouse, near the 18th green, is used for putting practice only and the larger putting green located in front of the Pro Shop can be used for putting and chipping practice.
The course was redesigned in 1974 and with new course layout, we have 4 of the old holes situated at the top of the hill where there is ample room to go through the bag and practice while taking in the stunning views across Edinburgh. Access to this is to the left hand side of the 1st hole.
A MUST FOR ANY KEEN GOLFER
The club has hosted the Scottish Amateur Stroke Play, Scottish Youth Tournaments and in 2017 the Scottish Girls Under 16’s. Only 3 miles from the West End of Princes Street, Mortonhall Golf Course is a must for any keen golfer visiting the historic City of Edinburgh and offers some of the best golf in Scotland. We welcome visitors to our course and to use our superb clubhouse throughout the week.
